Note the 'Patent pending' stamp on the body. I have never found a patent for National ukes, so presume that in 10 years of manufacture they never got around to it. Or, perhaps, they felt the Beauchamp's single cone guitar patent covered the ukes too. No large body style 0 ukuleles were built.
